Product notes

Ground cardamom is a prized spice obtained by grinding cardamom seeds. Highly prized for its intense and refined fragrance, it offers fresh, lemony and slightly camphor-like aromas, accompanied by delicate floral and spicy notes.

Used in many cuisines around the world, it adds flavour to both sweet and savoury dishes. It lends an elegant touch to pastries, biscuits, cakes, custards, compotes and fruit-based desserts. In savoury cooking, it enhances rice dishes, curries, tagines, marinades and certain sauces. It is also very popular in hot drinks such as tea, Middle Eastern coffee or herbal teas.

Thanks to its fine grind, cardamom quickly releases its full aromatic richness. Its strong flavour means it should be used sparingly to preserve the balance of flavours. To preserve its freshness and aroma, it is advisable to store it in an airtight container, away from light, heat and moisture.
