Product notes

Cinnamon sticks are a spice made from the inner bark of the cinnamon tree, which is carefully harvested and then dried to form delicate sticks. Valued for thousands of years, it is renowned for its warm fragrance and delicately sweet flavour.

Cinnamon sticks develop rich, enveloping aromas, blending woody, sweet and slightly spicy notes. Their subtle flavour adds a comforting and indulgent touch to many dishes.

Highly versatile, it adds flavour to compotes, desserts, pastries, custards, poached fruit and hot drinks such as tea, hot chocolate or mulled wine. It also works well in savoury dishes, particularly tagines, curries, marinades and slow-cooked dishes, to which it adds depth and finesse.

When used whole, the cinnamon stick slowly releases its aromas during cooking or steeping. Elegant and authentic, it is a staple in cuisines around the world, enriching recipes with a warm, fragrant and refined note.
