Product notes

Blue poppy seeds are small seeds ranging in colour from blue-grey to black, prized for their delicate flavour and crunchy texture. Harvested when ripe and then dried, blue poppy seeds are widely used in baking, patisserie and traditional cooking.

Their mild, subtle flavour is reminiscent of hazelnut with slight toasty notes. They add a gourmet touch and a distinctive texture to dishes, whilst lending an elegant visual appeal.

Blue poppy seeds are particularly popular as a topping for bread, brioche, Viennese pastries, biscuits, cakes and other baked goods. They can also be stirred into salads, sauces, dressings or vegetable dishes to add crunch and a delicate flavour.

Naturally rich in fibre, minerals and nutrients, blue poppy seeds are an ingredient that is as visually appealing as it is tasty. A simple pinch is enough to enrich your recipes with a refined, slightly toasted flavour.

May contain traces of sesame seeds, mustard, celery and gluten
