Product notes

Sweet paprika is a spice made from carefully selected sweet red peppers, which are dried and then finely ground. Recognisable by its beautiful, vibrant red colour, it has a delicate, slightly sweet and fruity flavour, with no heat or very little heat.

Highly prized in the cuisines of Central Europe, the Mediterranean and the East, sweet paprika adds colour and aroma to a wide range of dishes. It subtly enhances the flavour of meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, potatoes, sauces, soups and stews.

Its mild, well-balanced flavour also makes it an excellent seasoning for marinades, grilled dishes and rice-based dishes. It features in many traditional recipes, notably goulash and various Hungarian specialities.

Serving suggestion: add sweet paprika at the end of cooking or over a moderate heat to preserve its beautiful colour and delicate flavours. It will give your dishes a delicious, warming and vibrantly coloured touch.
