Product notes

Dried shallot strips offer all the finesse and delicacy of shallots in a practical, easy-to-use form. Their subtle flavour – which is at once mild, slightly sweet and delicately fragrant – adds a touch of elegance to a wide range of dishes.

They blend perfectly into sauces, salad dressings, marinades, slow-cooked dishes, stir-fried vegetables, meat, fish and cream-based dishes. Whether rehydrated or added directly whilst cooking, they gradually release their flavours to enrich recipes with finesse.

Convenient to store and always ready to use, these dehydrated shallot strips make it easy to enjoy the authentic flavour of shallots all year round.

Directions for use: rehydrate for a few minutes in lukewarm water before use, or add directly to dishes containing liquid. Use according to the desired level of flavour.
